It really is a shame that despite the cold hard truth that every living thing must someday die, there are people that just can't deal with the concept of death and choose instead to cling to anything they can pass off as life.

Its sad.... But what really gets me, is that Michael Shivo won... He probably put her in the condition in the first place, pulled the tube... directly after the autopsy, incinerated her against her parents wishes and did not even allow her parents to have a decent funeral. He then buries her in his parents plot. He has already said he wont be burried there with her...

the parents have had 15 years of mourning time yet people are still sad about her dying. but how about this for everybody who tried to give her communion: if you don't have the free will to choose to take the eucharist, the eucharist doesn't have the same effect.

Honestly, there are dozens of cases like this, and if you'd so much as do a little independant research instead of relying on the news to provide what you think you know, you would know she's been like that for 15 years, brought on by her views of beauty. Granted, what the husband did was wrong, but obviously it is morally and ethically wrong to keep someone alive against their will. And if you say she wanted to be alive, how the fuck would you know? How would she know? How would anyone know? She's a vegetable, and I think you all need to realize that she wasn't coming back, wasn't doing anything for society except providing a little rotten meat for the media flies to feed on. What we need to remember is that taking the feeding tube out saved her. Lets assume there was a soul in there. By keeping her technically alive, doesn't that keep her soul imprisoned in a shell that she can't use?
Of course, if I am wrong, and her soul did move on before they removed the tube, isn't it the job of a religion such as Christianity to help us cope with that mysterious and frightening thing called death?
